Long parts lists, JLCPCB numbers and reel twins: BOM Studio grows up

Big lists are priced in batches, with a progress bar

Lists over a dozen lines now go to the suppliers a few lines at a time, so none of them refuses the rush and far more lines come back priced. You watch the count climb; totals and health appear when the last batch lands.

JLCPCB and LCSC part numbers now work

Paste or upload an export that only carries LCSC codes such as C14663. Footprint looks up the manufacturer part behind each code and prices it across every supplier, with a small arrow showing what it resolved to.

Same part, different reel, no longer hidden

Part numbers that differ only by packaging, like a 180 mm versus a 330 mm reel or a tape-and-reel suffix, were being filtered out as wrong products. They now count as the same part, so more suppliers show up with a price.

Mouser prices settle faster

A cache rule written for one supplier was quietly throwing away every Mouser price for users outside Canada, forcing a fresh lookup every time. Fixed, so repeat searches and parts lists are quicker and gentler on the supplier.
