Capacitive reactance
A capacitor is a gate that opens wider as the signal wiggles faster: high frequency slips through, DC is blocked.
Xc = 1 / (2πfC)
Ideal capacitor driven by a sine wave. Reactance is not resistance: it shifts phase and dissipates no power. Real parts add ESR and self-resonance at high frequency.
